The Utah Jazz did what they were supposed to do in the first two games of their Western Conference semifinals series against the Los Angeles Clippers, they defended their home floor. Now, the Clippers will do the same as the series shifts to Los Angeles for Game 3 on Saturday night. The last thing that the Clippers want is to fall behind the Jazz 3-0. While there is plenty of basketball left to be played, it is the Clippers that have gotten off to a better start in Game 3 as they own a slim lead after one quarter of play.
Donovan Mitchell was fantastic again in Game 2 leading all scorers with 37 points in Utah's 117-111 win. For Los Angeles, it is pretty simple. If they cannot figure out a way to slow down Mitchell then they are going to have their hands full when it comes to their chances of beating the Jazz and getting back into this series. The Clippers will also need for Paul George to be more efficient than he has through the first two games as shooting 33 percent from the field will just not cut it against a team as good as the Jazz.
