  • Kids in the Palmerton area are invited to a free kids harvest party.

Officials from Bethany Wesleyan Church in Palmerton say all kids are welcome to the shindig.

The party starts at 10:30am Sunday morning. There will be a costume contest, pumpkin painting, fall crafts, games, and lots of snacks.

"I just want the kids to know this is a space for them to be themselves and learn more about God and learn more about themselves and to just be the best people that they can be as they grow up. I just want them to feel at home when they're at Bethany."

In addition to Sunday's party, church members will also be handing out candy from the front lawn at Bethany Wesleyan Church from 5pm to 7pm Saturday Night during Palmerton's official town trick or treating event.
